Lift Shop and Elevator Boutique are built on serious engineering, direct manufacturing, and proven experience. As market leader, we operate our own logistics hub in Italy and work directly with leading Italian manufacturers
Our next-generation electric lifts are designed by our in-house engineering team. Delivering clarity, speed, and accountability at every stage.
The Result for Clients: True European craftsmanship, controlled locally and delivered with confidence. No offshore drafting delays. No no-name European pass-through. No overseas non-recourse promise. No intermediaries. No inflated margins.
Luxury is defined by quality — and at Elevator Boutique, that standard is built into every detail. From premium materials, to higher-grade components throughout, our elevators are engineered to look better, operate more smoothly, and stand the test of time. These investments in superior materials and engineering are what allow us to confidently provide our 3-year warranty.

Every Elevator Boutique™ elevator is backed by a 3-year warranty. It is included as standard because we build our elevators for long-term reliability.
Over 90% of our elevators are installed in private homes, away from the heavy wear and misuse often seen in public environments. Combined with higher quality components and proven engineering systems, this allows us to confidently stand behind our products for longer.
Peace of mind should not be an expensive extra. At Elevator Boutique, it is part of the package.
The warranty covers 3 years, provided the elevator is serviced by Elevator Boutique technicians at least twice per year.
Applies to all new elevator sales from 1st July 2025. Metropolitan areas only. Terms and Conditions apply.
At Elevator Boutique safety is non-negotiable. It is not an optional extra – it is included as standard.
As an industry leader, we continue to set higher standards through advanced safety features including In-Cabin Self Rescue technology, emergency communication systems, automatic lowering during power outages, and machine-space rescue systems — all designed to give homeowners greater confidence and control.

Every Elevator Boutique elevator includes our In-Cabin Self Rescue technology, developed to help homeowners stay safe and in control.
If there’s a minor elevator issue or power interruption, our battery-backed In-Cabin Self Rescue system activates automatically. Once the elevator has safely secured the doors, passengers can simply press and hold two buttons inside the cabin.
The elevator then travels safely to the nearest lower floor, where the doors unlock, allowing passengers to exit normally without waiting for external assistance.
Designed specifically for residential environments, the system provides homeowners with greater reassurance, independence and peace of mind — particularly in private homes where emergency access may not always be immediate.
ICSR is included on all A and E Series models at no extra cost. Please note it is not available for jobs within the City of LA.

We have invested in specialized aluminum scaffolding systems designed to provide a safer working environment for our installers — helping protect both our people and our clients from unnecessary safety risks and compliance issues.
Working at heights without compliant access systems can result in significant penalties, site shutdowns, insurance complications, and serious safety risks for everyone involved in the project.
Residential elevator installations require technicians to work safely within open shafts and elevated areas during the installation process. Proper scaffolding is critical to maintaining compliance with OSHA and US workplace safety standards.
At Elevator Boutique, we have invested in purpose-built aluminum scaffolding systems because we believe safety should never be compromised. It protects our installers, helps keep projects running smoothly, and provides homeowners with greater confidence throughout the installation process.
Founded in Australia as Lift Shop™ in 1996 and launched in California as Elevator Boutique in 2012, we are a multinational home elevator success story and the market leader.
It began in Australia with a small team and a simple idea: make a beautifully engineered home elevator something you could choose with confidence — not navigate through specialists and middlemen.
Elevator Boutique launched in California, bringing our Italian-engineered elevators to American homes and opening our first U.S. showroom.
We quickly became recognized as the premium home elevator brand in California — and the A Series has been a California best seller ever since.
After a decade in the U.S., we moved into a much larger Orange County facility in Fountain Valley, bringing our showroom, team, and warehousing together under one roof.
We launched the silent, gearless E Series — our most advanced electric elevator, built for prestige homes that demand the very best.
More than 1,000 U.S. homes — and over 11,400 worldwide — trust our elevators, backed by 5525+ five-star Google reviews. Today we’re California’s most awarded home elevator specialist.
Choosing the wrong elevator can cost more than you think. Visit our luxury showroom to see, touch and experience the difference of an Elevator Boutique elevator - and find the perfect fit for your home.

Elevator Boutique opened in California in 2012, with roots going back to 1996 in Australia as Lift Shop. Across both markets we have installed more than 11,400 residential elevators, including over 1,000 in homes across the United States. Our California showroom is in Fountain Valley, supported by a wider network of showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Canberra. Our longevity and scale reflect the trust homeowners have placed in us over nearly three decades.
This experience gives us deep insight into American homes and California conditions — from coastal, salt-air environments to inland heat. We have refined our products and service processes based on this vast real-world experience.
Yes. Elevator Boutique operates as a licensed elevator contractor in California, and we comply with all relevant workplace health and safety requirements. Our elevators are engineered to meet US elevator safety codes, including ASME A17.1 (the Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators), along with applicable California and local building codes.
For installations within the City of Los Angeles, our elevators are built to comply with the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC). You can verify contractor licensing through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and confirm permit requirements with your local building department or the Cal/OSHA Elevator Unit.
ICSR (In-Cabin Self-Rescue) is fundamentally different from simple battery backup lowering. Battery backup lowering passively lowers the cabin to the nearest floor if power fails. ICSR gives you active control — you can press buttons inside the cabin to move the elevator to the nearest floor yourself. You are not waiting for an automatic system; you are in control.
We were the first to introduce In-Cabin Self-Rescue, and in a home setting where help may be far away, active self-rescue is safer than passive lowering. ICSR is included on every A and E Series elevator at no extra cost (it is not available for jobs within the City of LA).
Yes. We install and service home elevators across California, with our showroom and team based in Fountain Valley serving homeowners statewide — from San Diego to the Bay Area.
Our service reach includes coastal cities, inland towns, and more remote properties. If you are located away from our main service area, contact us and we will discuss coverage for your specific address. Our commitment is to support Elevator Boutique customers across California.
A home elevator can be an attractive feature to potential buyers, particularly families with aging relatives or people with mobility challenges. However, the exact impact on resale value depends on many factors: the local market, the buyer profile, the elevator quality, and the home’s other features. A well-maintained elevator from a reputable supplier is an asset; a poorly maintained one may concern buyers.
We recommend disclosing the elevator to potential buyers and emphasizing its quality, warranty, and service record. Our 3-year warranty on parts, our 11,400+ installation record, and professional maintenance are strong selling points. For some buyers, an installed elevator saves them the cost and hassle of installing one themselves. Speak with your real estate agent about how the elevator is positioned in your specific market.
After 30 years, we know this: your satisfaction and safety come before profit.
With demand soaring and skilled labour tight, we’re limiting new orders. This isn’t about turning away business, it’s about protecting our promise to deliver flawless quality and service. We don’t chase volume. We pursue excellence.
A faulty lift isn’t a problem solved by replacement, it’s a problem that grows. Fixing it right and keeping you happy is our priority. That’s why over 5,000 clients rate us 5 stars on Google.
If we can’t guarantee your satisfaction, we’ll say no.
Here’s when:
Financial Risk: We don’t pass bad debts onto our good clients.
Unrealistic Expectations: Our timelines are strict because they work.
Safety Negligence: Ignoring safety isn’t negotiable.
Unreasonable Demands or Conduct: Respect is non-negotiable, for us and our people.
Mismatch in Solutions: We’re specialists, if we don’t have the right lift for your needs, we won’t compromise.
Price Wars: Cooperation beats haggling. We prefer solving problems to hiring lawyers and yes, our legal team at Gilbert + Tobin is very good (and very expensive).
Thank you for understanding.
This is how everyone wins, with satisfaction, safety, and trust intact.
